At Portland International Airport (PDX), Alaska Airlines PDX Terminal is the biggest airline, mostly operating out of Concourses B and C. The single terminal of Portland International Airport is divided into four main concourses, B, C, D, and E. Alaska Airlines' primary base of operations is Concourse C, where the airline primarily operates. The main terminal's upper level houses the airline's primary check-in and ticketing counters. Through this effort, passengers can use user-friendly touch-screen systems that are connected to digital kiosks or the airline's mobile app to tag their own bags and check in.
Passengers go through one of the airport's two security checkpoints after checking in. The majority of Alaska's flights depart from Concourses B and C, which are closest to the south checkpoint. Concourses D and E can be reached via the north checkpoint. After clearing security, travelers on Alaska Airlines often head to Concourse C, which is home to the airline's biggest group of gates at PDX. With its long, straight layout and moving walkways, this concourse makes it easy to move between gates and stores. With its open architecture, plenty of seating, and a large assortment of neighborhood eateries and boutique stores, the entire area was created with the ease of travelers in mind.
Located right across from Gate C5, the Alaska at Portland Airport Lounge is one of the most prominent facilities Alaska Airlines provides to its passengers at PDX. This large lounge serves day pass holders, lounge subscribers, and elite Alaska Mileage Plan members. With cozy seating, free food and drinks, Wi-Fi, and dedicated customer service, the lounge provides a calm and elegant haven from the bustling terminal. Before their flights, travelers can unwind inside with a changing menu of nibbles, soups, salads, and espresso drinks.
