Planet is the 3rd planet from the Sun and the sole identified devote the galaxy wherever living exists. Usually called the "Blue Planet" because over 70% of its floor is covered by water, Earth is an amazing earth filled with diverse landscapes, areas, and ecosystems. From magnificent hill ranges to heavy sea trenches, Earth helps an unbelievable selection of living types, including individuals, who have built civilizations across its continents.
Beneath its surface, Earth is composed of many layers. The outermost layer, named the crust, includes both the area we live on and the sea floor. Beneath that lies the mantle, a thick coating of slowly streaming rock. Greater is still the outer key, made of molten material that creates Earth's magnetic subject, and at the very middle could be the solid internal key, composed mostly of metal and nickel. Surrounding the world may be the atmosphere, a protective layer of gases—mostly nitrogen and oxygen—that helps living, offers breathable air, safeguards us from hazardous radiation, and helps control temperature.
Certainly one of Earth's most defining characteristics is its abundance of water. Oceans cover all of the world and play a crucial position in regulating climate and promoting underwater life. Freshwater resources like rivers, lakes, glaciers, and underground aquifers are essential for drinking water, agriculture, and other designs of life.
