9:41 PM 		Ivermectin 24 mg tablet works by targeting the nervous system of certain parasites. It binds to glutamate-gated chloride channels in the nerve and muscle cells of parasites, increasing the permeability of the cell membrane to chloride ions. This leads to paralysis and death of the parasites. Ivermectin 24 mg Tablet is effective against a range of parasites, including those that cause conditions like strongyloidiasis, onchocerciasis (river blindness), and scabies. In humans, it does not readily cross the blood-brain barrier, making it generally safe at recommended doses. The 24 mg dosage is typically used for more severe or extensive infections and should be taken as prescribed by a healthcare provider. It does not work against viral infections like the common cold or flu.
