If you didn't get to play on this weekend's game We have a few things to say now aren't we? The first is that this was the very first one of these themed Weekends took place, with players trying to get the best of the numerous boosts and bonus offers. While being AFK isn't enjoyable, you've suffered enough for being behind friends from Gielinor So we'll put aside the topic for the moment.
This weekend, two of the most popular boosts in RuneScape led players to Runespan as well as Sophanem. Although there were other boosters such as Divination springs lasting more than twice as long, or Fishing spots that move half as frequently for instance players decided that their time should be used elsewhere. They mostly practiced running in Runespan or working to find the mysterious Sceptre of the Gods in the Pyramid Plunder mini-game, which is available in Sophanem.
Many people have played in Runespan and certainly improved their skills, all must remember to leave Runespan and return points for the weekend boost in order to be eligible. If it's not working for you, well and now you know why.
Another popular activity during this time of year required the blessings of RNGesus as some of the Pyramid Plunder farmers saw their Sceptre of the Gods drop immediately and others worked for hours and hours with nothing. The jury is still out on whether those who were blessed sacrificed their animals to RNGesus or simply twerked away at night, while yelling to the Moon, in towards the real Pyramids and the real Pyramids, we have to thank the lucky ones. Everyone hates a loser.
Whatever you did this weekend, whether it was having a good time with friends or chasing the Sceptre with reckless exuberance, we hope you had lots of enjoyment. We hope that you don't skip the May Weekend the next time around or meet your goals should you choose to take part at the time. We'll be on hand to explain what you missed out on if you fail to attend.
