If you have been sinking a lot of late nights into Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and keep spotting players shredding with the LGM-1, you are not imagining it – that gun is ridiculous right now, and a good CoD BO7 Bot Lobby match only makes it feel even dirtier to use. It kind of sits between an AR and an LMG, hits hard, and does not slow you down like a full heavy weapon, but the annoying bit is you cannot just level up and unlock it from the menu. The only way in is through the Astra Malorum Easter egg, and if you go in blind you will burn half the evening just wandering in circles.

Getting The Quest Started
Once you load into Astra Malorum, you will notice the whole place feels wrong straight away – low light, weird echoes, and that empty space station vibe that makes you check your corners even when nothing is there. Do not waste time; head straight for the central Control Hub, the big room with the main terminal in the middle. Interact with that terminal and the quest quietly kicks off, no big fanfare, so some players miss it and think the map is bugged. From there your first real job is collecting Data Fragments, and this is where most squads slow down because there are no obvious markers on your HUD.

Finding Data Fragments Without Losing Your Mind
You will want to move methodically through the station, room by room, because the fragments are tucked away in spots the game does not spoon feed you. Look for small panels on the walls that look slightly out of place; a lot of them slide open if you get close enough or interact. In the zero gravity sections, keep an eye out for tiny glowing shards drifting near cables or air vents; it is easy to barrel through and miss them when you are focused on staying alive. Some fragments sit behind locked doors that only open after you clear a wave, so if you see a room packed with enemies and a stubborn door, it is usually worth fighting it out instead of sprinting past.

Dealing With The Sentinel Boss
Once you have enough data, the game drops the Sentinel Boss on you, and this is where solo players usually hit a wall. He drags in a huge shield and a laser that just deletes your health if you get caught in the open, so standing in the middle of a hallway trying to beam him down is a fast way back to the lobby. Use cover, break line of sight, and wait for his shield to flare then drop before you dump damage into him; if you have a squad, take turns baiting his attention so someone always has a clean angle. When he finally drops, grab the Quantum Core instantly, because if you get greedy looting and go down, it is way too easy to wipe and lose the whole run.

Finishing The Upload And Speeding Up Progress
With the Quantum Core in your pocket, you head back to the Control Hub and slot it into the main terminal, which starts the last and messiest part of the Easter egg. The upload triggers a full defence section where enemies pour in from doors, vents, and sometimes spots you thought were safe, so you want ammo topped off, field upgrades ready, and at least one person watching each lane. The key is not panicking when the screen fills with targets; rotate, call out where the pressure is coming from, and use equipment aggressively instead of hoarding it. Once the upload bar completes, the LGM-1 unlocks on the spot, ready for your loadouts, and if you do not feel like grinding every attachment the slow way, plenty of players lean on services like RSVSR to speed up progress, grab better gear, or sort out in game items without spending another whole weekend stuck in the same lobby.RSVSR is the spot for Black Ops 7 players who actually want to get better, not just scroll through hype. If you're stuck in Astra Malorum hunting the LGM-1, you'll get straight talk on Control Hub setups, smart routes for Data Fragments, and how to stop wiping to that brutal Sentinel boss. We break down the Data Upload chaos in a way that feels like a teammate, not a lecture, with real strategies, BO7 bot lobbies, and legit boosting that helps you unlock more without burning out.
