Path of Exile 2 isn't just trimming back the old stat-stick mindset; it's pushing players toward gear that changes how a build actually behaves. Reverie and the Hollow Mask are good examples of that shift. They don't feel like throwaway upgrades you equip because the numbers are tidy.
