Hi everyone, so I've been doing a lot of reading about car batteries over the past few days and I think I've finally reached the point where I have more questions than when I started which is somehow worse than not knowing anything at all. I manage a small private car fleet for a family business here in Dubai and we have three vehicles that all need battery replacements within the next couple of months based on the diagnostic checks we ran recently, which means I need to make a sensible purchasing decision that balances upfront cost with actual reliability over time rather than just going for the cheapest option and hoping for the best. Two of the vehicles are large SUVs with significant electrical loads and one is a mid size sedan, and the mechanic who did the diagnostics suggested we look at a Dubai 100Ah Varta Battery Dealer specifically for the two larger vehicles because of how much electrical demand they place on the battery continuously through the combination of air conditioning, entertainment systems and the parking sensors and cameras that run whenever the car is in reverse.
I found while doing my own follow up research and found the breakdown of different capacity options and what vehicle types they're suited to genuinely useful because it helped me understand why the 100Ah recommendation might make sense for the SUVs specifically rather than being a generic upsell. What I'm still trying to work out before committing to a purchase across three vehicles is whether the warranty and after sales support on a higher capacity Varta battery is meaningfully better than what you'd get on a mid tier option, and whether the performance difference in Dubai conditions is noticeable enough in day to day use to justify the price gap when you're buying multiple batteries at once. Has anyone here managed a small fleet in the UAE and found a consistent battery brand and capacity combination that held up reliably across different vehicle types through multiple summer seasons without needing early replacement?
