Sometimes, village life in India can be pretty hard, as people have to walk for miles in order to fetch water, children lack proper education, and numerous people cannot find decent jobs. Despite the rapid evolution of cities, villages fail to obtain all basic facilities and possibilities. Here comes in handy another organization, namely, Swades Foundation.
Founded in 2013, the Swades foundation has been able to help numerous families lead a better life and create the future for themselves. First, Swades distinguishes itself from other charities in the sense that it does not offer temporary aid but attempts to solve issues once and for all. Farmers are educated to use new technologies, thus raising crop production and their profits. Meanwhile, women gain some skills that will allow them to bring money into the family. Besides, Swades provides healthcare services and sanitation facilities, access to clean water and quality education in the villages. Moreover, Swades Foundation develops a number of programs aimed at teaching youngsters to make themselves useful in society and earn a living through their own means.
