1:24 AM 		Washing clothes with sublimation patches is simple if you take a few gentle steps. Always turn the garment inside out before it goes in the machine. This protects the patch surface from rubbing against zippers, buttons, and other rough fabrics. Use cold water and a mild detergent, since hot water can weaken the bond and fade the printed colors over time.

Set your washer to a delicate or gentle cycle to keep movement soft and reduce stress on the design. Skip bleach and harsh chemicals completely, as they break down the ink and dull the vibrant look you paid for. The same care applies to custom dye sublimation patches, which hold their color best when treated kindly.

When it comes to drying, air drying is your safest choice. Lay the item flat or hang it away from direct sunlight to avoid fading. If you must use a dryer, pick the lowest heat setting and remove the garment while it is still slightly damp. Never iron directly over the patch, because high heat can melt or distort the print. Instead, place a thin cloth between the iron and the patch if you need to smooth wrinkles. Follow these habits and your patches stay bright wash after wash.
